Jim McNulty has missed out on the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month Award for August.
The Dale defender was shortlisted for the award alongside Coventry City’s Adam Armstrong, Bradley Dack of Gillingham and Walsall’s Sam Mantom, with Armstong named as the winner.
McNulty was in the running for the award after an impressive start to the season by Keith Hill’s side, who have kept four clean sheets in five games and have conceded just two goals in the league so far this season.
