Dale will face League Two side Morecambe in the Area Quarter Final of Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
The tie will be played at Spotland on the week commencing November 9th. Admission details will be announced in due course.
The Shrimps were 1-0 winners over Bury in the second round of the competition, while Dale recorded a 2-1 victory over Chesterfield.
