Manager Keith Hill is full of praise for Peter Vincenti, who has been named the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for September.
Vincenti received the award after scoring four times in five games during the month, while his support play and his well-timed runs into the box didn’t go unnoticed.
The award comes swiftly on the back of the inaugural Sky Bet Football League Unsung Hero award, which he picked up for August.
Speaking on Friday morning, Hill commented: “The award is well deserved.
“Peter has been magnificent since he has been at the football club. He has committed his future to the Football Club and to me in particular. I had to give him certain assurances but he has given me them back 10-fold.
“I think he’s an exceptional person and he’s an outstanding talent. We, as a club appreciate him, I appreciate him and I hope he continues to be successful.
“He’s a great talisman for the football club and a great ambassador. He does a lot of work for charity and for the PFA and the players, and arguably he’s one of my right hand men in the changing rooms and out on the football pitch.”
