As previously announced, Dale’s official photographer, Dan Youngs, or DySporting to those who know him best from Twitter, has been raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, a charity close to the club’s heart.
He has recently been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and had since developed alopecia as a side effect, meaning he had started losing patches of his hair.
Dan made the decision in September to shave his head and in doing so hoped to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. He chose this charity due to the club’s link with Brandon Beech, who has Cystic Fibrosis.
He has now had his hair shaved off and in the process has raised over £600!
