Dale’s opponents for the 2015-16 season have been confirmed following Sunday’s play-off final at Wembley.
Preston North End were comprehensive 4-0 winners over Swindon Town, meaning Keith Hill’s side will face the Robins again next season.
Dale will also take on Burton Albion, Bury, Shrewsbury Town and Southend United following their promotion from League Town, while Blackpool, Millwall and Wigan Athletic await after their relegation from the Championship.
