Rochdale fans who travel to all 23 away games next season will clock up over four thousand miles during the 2015-16 campaign, which is over a thousand less than last season.
Dale will travel 4,570.8 miles next season compared to the 5,612 miles that were covered as Keith Hill’s side secured their highest ever league finish during the 2014-15 campaign.
It’s also two-and-a-half thousand miles less than 2013-14 – Dale completed 7,012.4 miles as they went on the hunt for promotion to League One.
Rochdale's visit to Gillingham’s Priestfield Stadium is the furthest round trip at just over 500 miles, followed closely by Southend United (499.6) and Colchester United (468.8).
Closer to home and Dale have two derby games to look forward to next season. The shortest journey is the trip to Oldham Athletic’s SportsDirect.com Park, which comes in at 11.8 miles on the round trip. Bury is slightly further with 15.8 miles to travel in total.
