Rochdale Ladies Under 15’s Presentation Evening

Rochdale Ladies Under 15’s Presentation Evening

The awards evening at the Cemetery Hotel was a huge success with Rochdale AFC midfielder Jamie Allen presenting trophies to:

Player's player: Olivia Storto

Most improved: Pippa Ullah

Player of the Year: Jess Harrison

The evening was a fitting end to the first year in the North Manchester Girls League, which after a slow start, developed into a successful campaign highlighted with a runners up run in the League Cup Competition.

For season 2015/6, the Ladies are looking to run teams at under 10/12/14/16’s age groups with training taking part now on Wednesdays 6-8pm at the Soccer Factory, Royle Barn Road.

Any player wishing to play for Rochdale AFC should just turn up at the venue or for more information, contact Keith Hicks on 07958593121 or emailkeith.hicks@rochdaleafc.co.uk

Recently an Open Day attracted over 50 girls aged 6-14 which showed the interest in Rochdale is there followed by an excellent turn out at subsequent coaching sessions.

Coaching is taking place by Jordan McKinley and James Cooney, FA qualified Community Trust staff, who have the relevant safeguarding children awards with Siobhan McElhinney, Trust Assistant Manager, UEFA “B” qualified coach and up until recently still playing for Huddersfield Town in the FA’s Womens Premier League (North Division).
