Did you know you can sponsor a goal from as little as 50p?
With the start of the 2015/16 season fast approaching, we’re once again looking for supporters to get involved in our popular ‘Sponsor A Goal’ fundraising initiative.
Last season we raised over £2,000 together, so the campaign is a valuable source of income for the club.
The names of supporters who get involved will appear in every issue of Dale’s Matchday programme, 'The Voice of Spotland', with a page dedicated to those who are willing to sponsor the number of goals scored, whether that be the team as a whole, or a certain individual player's goal tally.
Sponsorships start at just 50p per goal, but you can choose any amount you wish. Simply decide how much you want to sponsor each goal Rochdale score during the forthcoming season, or an individual player, and send your pledge through to pete.woodhouse@rochdaleafc.co.uk with a simple message that you want to see appear in TVOS. Here's an example from last season: Ian, Paul, Darren and Mick - "Best wishes to the playing staff and management team on our return to League One" - £1 per each goal scored.
