Preview: Chesterfield

20 February 2015

After three games on the road and a postponement sandwiched in between, Dale are back at Spotland this Saturday.

Chesterfield are the visitors for the League One clash.

Dale were last in action at home on January 26th as they hosted Stoke City in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Since then, Keith Hill’s side has had trips to Coventry City, Walsall and Peterborough United.

Saturday’s match against the Spireites kicks off a run of home games for Dale, with Spotland hosting four of Rochdale’s next five league fixtures.

Manager Keith Hill has confirmed that Calvin Andrew will miss the next five weeks after sustaining an injury in last weekend's match against Peterborough United. He has also revealed that Nyal Bell will make his first start for Dale this weekend.

Meanwhile, Chesterfield's Gary Roberts is fit for the match after recovering from a hamstring injury which has kept him side-lined for a month. Ian Evatt could also return after missing Tuesday night’s defeat at Scunthorpe United.
