Rochdale’s Boxing Day fixture v Crewe Alex at Spotland was called off due to the severe flooding affecting the area, while the Iron were 1-0 winners over Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.
Ahead of the game, both teams have accumulated 30 points, although Dale have played a game less.
