Manager Keith Hill is expecting a difficult test against Championship opposition on Tuesday evening as his side take on Hull City in the second round of the Capital One Cup.
The Tigers were relegated from the Premier League last season, but Hill is tipping them for a quick return back to the top flight.
“For me, Hull City are one of the favourites for automatic promotion.
“Steve Bruce has done a superb job. As much as he’s sold players, he has recruited at the right time and has spent a lot of money recruiting players, and I think he strikes the right balance.
“I think they’re an excellent side and they are a Premier League team and a Premier League Football Club playing Championship football.
“It’s a very difficult task to bounce straight back – we haven’t seen too many teams do that, with respect to getting relegated from the Premier League and bounce back at the first occasion.
“We saw Norwich do it admirably last season and I think Hull are set to do something similar to what Norwich did.”
