Rochdale AFC’s newly formed ladies under 15 side competed in their first fixture on Saturday, going up against Heyside Angels in the North Manchester Girls League.
They put in an excellent performance against last season’s Champions, but after conceding three in the last 10 minutes, they fell to a 4-2 defeat.
Dale had been ahead in the game through a Olivia Storto double, and had hit the bar twice and the post before going on to concede late in the match.
Emma Flynn was voted player of the match by the referee.
