Dale are in Johnstone’s Paint Trophy action on Tuesday night at Spotland.

Walsall are the visitors, with Dean Smith’s side set for a second trip to Rochdale this season.

The two sides met in League One less than a month ago, with Dale 4-0 winners on the night. Matty Done, Ashley Eastham, Ian Henderson and an own goal by Andy Butler secured three points for Dale. You can watch the goals HERE.

Rochdale progressed to the third round of the competition last season following a 1-0 win over Port Vale. Joe Rafferty scored the only goal of the game in the second round tie at Vale Park. You can watch his goal on our YouTube channel HERE.
