Reuben Noble-Lazarus is looking forward to getting started after joining Dale on loan from Barnsley.
The 21-year-old, who worked under Manager Keith Hill at the Tykes, says moving to a club which has a buzz around the place is a positive.
He told Dale Player: “I have been at Barnsley all my career and it has treated me well. I love the club but sometimes you need to get out and take new chances and opportunities.
“Obviously the spirit within the club [at Rochdale] is a lively one and it’s good to be part of that. It can only be a positive coming into somewhere where there’s an environment like that and hopefully I can contribute to it.”
He continued: “I know what the Manager is like from my time at Barnsley. He wants hard work and an all-round hard work ethic – if you do that your talent will shine through. I think he has done a really good job here.
“I’m a ball player – I like to get the ball down and play, like they have been doing here, so I can’t wait to get started.”
