Saturday's Match Sponsors

27 November 2014

Dale’s Corporate Sales and Marketing Manager, Iain Johnstone, introduces Saturday’s match sponsors….

Official Match Sponsors
Jem Fire Pumps are Saturday’s match sponsors. There is a good mix of Dale and Latics supporters amongst the group and hopefully the Dale supporters will be the happy ones at 5pm on Saturday evening. That said, as holders of the title of our highest ever bar bill, there is a very good chance that they will all be pretty happy by the end of the match.

Executive Match Sponsors
Howarth Timber are one of two Executive Sponsors for this match and are back for their second sponsorship of the season. They have elected to dine in the lounge and watch the match from the main stand instead of an executive box on Saturday afternoon. Another party with a mix of supporters should see them enjoy a lively and exciting afternoon at this eagerly anticipated fixture.

Meanwhile, Apadmi  will also be joining us as Executive Match Sponsors. They are the UK’s leading mobile app developer, winner of App Developer of the Year 2014 and a Top 10 Global App Developer as listed by Washington DC IT research firm, SourcingLine. From the BBC iPlayer Radio app to the Guardian Witness, Apadmi’s Co-Founders which include Rochdale born Garry Partington and Oldham-born Howard Simms have worked with many of the world’s most renowned brands. Along with sister company RealityMine, a mobile market research company whose solution is live in over 27 countries, Garry, Howard and their 2 co-founders have grown the Apadmi group from a start-up of 10 back in 2009 to a 70 strong team of mobile experts. Garry and Howard wish both teams the best of luck.

Match Ball Sponsors
Joining us for the first time are Sandersons Floor and Roof Truss Co Ltd of Milnrow Road. It’s a pleasure to welcome them to the match and I hope they will be back after enjoying our hospitality on Saturday afternoon.

Dale Trust
A warm welcome to the lucky Trust members drawn out of the hat to attend this Saturday’s derby. One of the many benefits of being a Trust member is getting the chance to sample our hospitality at a match and you can join by visiting the Trust desk in the Dale Bar before every home match.

Simmo’s Sartorial Substitutes
This annual sponsorship is in warm memory of PAUL SIMPSON, a lifelong 'Dale' fan, eternal optimist and self proclaimed 'fashion icon' who sadly passed away a few years ago. The group contains lifelong friends and fans of both clubs who, as Paul would surely have done, regard Saturday's fixture as their match of the season. With both 'Blues' playing their best football for many years, a cracker of a game is in prospect.

The group name recalls how Paul's dress sense(or lack of it!) ,reflected his whole personality - bright, witty and friendly. We still miss the jokes and repartee which made him such great company and look forward to recalling such fond memories whilst watching a great game. With these thoughts and Paul's sartorial catch phrase "It's called style, lads" in mind, this year's garb is dedicated to the Blues Brothers-all black suits, white shirts and pork pie hats!

And finally, please note that the Black Executive in the Main Stand are ALL TICKET. Unless you have a specific ticket for a seat in that area you must sit elsewhere.
