William Blair and Ethan Brierley are this Saturday’s mascots and will lead the teams out onto the pitch ahead of kick-off.
William is the grandson of Ronnie Blair, who appeared for both Clubs in his illustrious career. William attends Holy Trinity Primary School in Littleborough and plays for Dale’s Academy Under 11s in the attacking midfield/ central striker role. His favourite Dale players are Jamie Allen, Matty Done, Bastien Hery.
Ethan also plays for the club’s Under 11s team – he’s an influential midfield player. The 11-year-old attends St Edward’s Primary School in Castleton and his favourite player is Matty Done.
