Nyal Bell was presented with his LFE Award during half-time at Saturday's match v Doncaster Rovers.
As previously announced, Bell, who is a second year scholar, was named in the League Football Education (LFE) XI for October.
‘The 11’ recognises the football and academic progress of apprentice players up and down the country. The competition organised by the (LFE), which also assesses other factors such as apprentice involvement in club community based initiatives, is judged by LFE’s team of regional officers and will run on four occasions (October, December, February and May) during the 2014-15 season.
Craig Skinner, a LFE Regional Manager, presented Nyal with his certificate.
