Scunthorpe United: Preview

23 December 2014

Rochdale are on the road this Boxing Day as they make the trip to Scunthorpe United’s Glanford Park.

Dale head into the fixture on the back of Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Notts County, a game in which Rochdale were denied all three points following a controversial decision to award the Magpies a last gasp goal despite a two players being offside and a foul on Josh Lillis.

Rochdale remain in a play-off position (6th) heading into the festive period, while the Iron, who were promoted alongside Dale last season, sit 18th in the table.

Conrad Logan will miss the match after sustaining a serious injury in Saturday’s game. He is Dale’s only absentee, with Manager Keith Hill expected to select from a fully fit squad (other than Conrad, of course) for the fixture.
