An injury time goal from Harry Pratt saw Dale’s under 18 side record a dramatic late win over Preston North End on Tuesday afternoon.
Rochdale had opened up a two goal lead through Harry Pratt and Brandon Smalley, however the visitors to Stainton Park netted twice to draw level - the equaliser coming with 90 minutes on the clock.
The match looked to be heading for a draw, but a Dale break deep in stoppage time saw Pratt strike beyond the Lillywhites’ ‘keeper to seal the three points.
The game finished Rochdale 3, Preston North End 2.
There’s no fixture for Dale’s under 18 side this weekend, however they’re once again in action against Preston North End this coming Tuesday (September 2nd), this time away from home in the Youth Alliance Cup. A venue has yet to be confirmed.
