Tom Kennedy has today signed a short-term contract with the club until January, signalling a return to Spotland for the 29-year-old.
It’s the third spell at Dale for the full-back, who left Barnsley last month.
Kennedy first joined Rochdale in 2007, where he made over 150 appearances for the side during a three year period at the club. He was part of the Dale side that won promotion to League One in 2010.
A move to Leicester City followed that same summer, but he returned to Spotland in November of that year for a three month loan spell. In 2012 he was re-united with Manager Keith Hill at Oakwell.
It’s the second new addition to the squad in as many days after Stephen Dawson put pen to paper on Wednesday.
Welcome back to Spotland, Tom!
