Hill: He's A Great Addition

3 September 2013

Manager Keith Hill bolstered his attacking options on Monday afternoon with the addition of forward Graham Cummins on loan from League One side Preston North End.

Hill told that he is pleased to have him on board.

“He’s a great addition,” said Hill. “He’ll bring honesty, endeavour and hard work. He’s a little bit different to the players that we’ve got in our squad and I’m really pleased to have been able to recruit him.

“He scored a hat full of goals when he was over Ireland and has worked tirelessly since coming over to Preston. He’s the type of player that I know will score goals for us because of his work rate, his endeavour and his ability to get on the end of crosses, which he is also very good at.

“Graham wants to play football and he wants to get on the get go. He had got on the get go at Preston but it hasn’t quite worked out in terms of having a staple run of games.

“He’s going to be competition for places and he knows that he is going to have to work hard. For me, George Donnelly, Scott Hogan and Joe Bunney have all done excellently, but he gives me different permutations.”
