The deadline to enrol for Football in the Community’s new and exciting Futsal Scholarship is fast approaching.
Young people aged 16 and 17 years old have until November 1st to register their interest for the two year programme which launched in September.
Those on the scholarship study and train at Rochdale AFC, plus take part in weekly games in the North West Futsal League at the Leeds Arena.
Part of the playing programme sees a national tournament organised at the end of the season, with the winning club invited to spend a week at the Barcelona Academy in what will be the chance of a life time.
This is a fantastic opportunity for young people aged 16-17 and there is still time to get involved. So if you want to:
- Work towards obtaining a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma
- Get a first class education that will get you to University
- Gain qualifications to work in the sports industry
- Train and compete in a professional futsal environment
- Represent your local professional club
- Become a Futsal player, coach or referee
