If you follow us on Twitter you will have seen today’s #GuessTheBeard picture. We had many guesses but no right answers and to be honest it was a little bit of a curve ball.
Thursday’s beard belongs to former Dale defender Craig Dawson who popped into Spotland this morning. Craig, as you can see, has a fair amount of growth coming along and admits it has come with a small degree of aggravation.
“It is a little itchy to be honest, but it is nothing compared with what Brandon has to deal with on a day to day basis,” said Dawson. “The level of support from former Rochdale players from various clubs around the country and the supporters has been fantastic.
“Saturday will be a great day, I’ve just bought my Brandon Beard t-shirt and while I can't be there in person, I’ll be there in spirit.”
