As you may have seen, Manager Keith Hill kindly offered to auction of the Manager of the Month Award that he won for September for our Brandon’s Beard appeal.
Bidding on the item closed on Thursday and the club received a late bid for the award from the League Manager’s Association (LMA).
Their bid was substantially more than any other bid we received, but not only that, they have offered to present the award back to Keith so we can keep it at the club.
Olaf Dixon from the LMA will be at the game v Exeter City on Saturday and he will be on the pitch before the game with Keith Hill.
Meanwhile, a supporter who is based in Dubai is the successful bidder (£325) of the signed Man of the Match ball which was donated by the Football League Sponsors, Sky Bet. Ross Pennington, who is flying over the
Boxing Day game v Mansfield, will be presented with the ball.
