Rose Extends Stay

15 May 2013

Rochdale Football Club is delighted to announce that Michael Rose has agreed to extend his stay at Spotland.

The 30-year-old has agreed a two-year-deal, effective from July 1.

Rose joined Dale in February on non-contract terms following his departure from Colchester United and made 14 appearances for Keith Hill’s side between then and the end of the season.

Hill has made no secret of his wish to retain the left-back for the upcoming campaign and he is pleased to have secured his services: “Michael is a quality player, he’s an exceptional talent and a creator.

“It has been my desire since he came to the Football Club to extend his deal past the end of the season so I’m delighted he’s agreed to a two-year-deal. He wants to be successful and he wants to be successful over the next two years with Rochdale Football Club.”
