Dale ground staff prepared for predicted snow fall
The club’s ground staff will today (Thursday) begin laying covers on the Spotland pitch as they prepare for the predicted snowfall which has been forecast for Friday and into Saturday.
It is predicted that the snow will arrive in the early hours of Friday morning and the ground staff are keeping a close eye on the situation.
With Southend United the visitors to Spotland on Saturday afternoon, we will require volunteers to help remove the snow off the pitch on the morning of the game. Anyone who can lend a hand is asked to report to the club for 8.30am.
