Chris Beech tops cycle challenge
Youth team Manager Chris Beech saddled up for charity last week, bagging himself the use a newly styled Peugeot RCZ sports coupe for a week courtesy of Local Peugeot dealership, RRG Rochdale.
The dealership on Edinburgh Road has been raising funds for Red Nose Day 2013 through their cycle challenge, with each participant in the challenge donating £1.
An exercise bike had been positioned in the dealership’s showroom from Friday 8th March through until Friday 22nd, and the person who could cycle the longest distance in 10 minutes, won the use a newly restyled Peugeot RCZ sports coupé for one week.
A competitive Beechy was one of the last to attempt the challenge and he racked up a whopping 9.9 kilometres in just 10 minutes!
Dale’s Sales and Marketing Manager Iain Johnstone said: "It's great to be able to support events like these, particularly when it is for a good cause. Although it was a bit of a fun, Chris definitely had a competitive edge! I’d like to thank Mike Knowles the aftersales Manager at the dealership for inviting us down to take part.”
