Manager Keith Hill has secured his second recruit in as many days with the addition of Matty Lund.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who has joined Dale following his departure from Stoke City, has penned a two-year-deal, effective from July 1.
Lund is familiar with League Two football after spending time on loan at Bristol Rovers and Southend United last season. He has also had spells at Oldham Athletic and Hereford United.
