Dale Through on Penalties

 Rochdale are through to the Semi-Final of the Lancashire FA Molson Coors Senior Cup on penalties.


At a rainswept Crown Ground both sides found the net on two occasions each with the Dale goals coming from Joel Logan and Ola Rabiu on either side of half time.


Logan converted from close range to give Dale the lead on 25 minutes and the striker turned provider following the break finding team mate Ola Rabiu who also netted from close range.


Stanley were soon back in contention though when Luke Clark threaded the ball to Aidan Chippendale and the substitute picked out the bottom left corner.


At two nil Rochdale looked certainties for the next round, however, Stanley had other idea's.  Substitute Aidan Chippendale fired home before James Gray levelled with ten minutes to go.


No side could find a winning goal and the game went straight to penalties.  Rochdale recorded five from five from 12 yards and keeper Aaron Ashley saved from James Gray to send through.
