Rochdale put five past Wigan Athletic on Saturday morning to record their third consecutive victory of the new season.
Doubles from Dimi Tuanzebe and Callum Camps, plus a goal from Connor Martin, saw Rick Ashcroft’s side inflict a 5-0 defeat on the Latics for a second time in two meetings.
It’s the same scoreline as when the teams met in the final of the LFA Youth Cup back in May.
The under 18s are back in action this afternoon (Tuesday) against Blackpool at Moor Lane. Kick-off 2pm.
