Sky Bet League Two: Oxford United v Rochdale
The Kassam Stadium, Saturday 31th August, 3pm kick-off

Rochdale are back on the road again this week as they make the trip to the Kassum Stadium for their second away trip in a row.

Dale head into the Sky Bet League Two fixture following last weekend’s defeat to Plymouth Argyle after a Pilgrims penalty which should never have been, while Oxford United remain unbeaten heading into the match.

The U's have recorded wins over Plymouth, Bury and Torquay, and secured a point at home to Wycombe Wanderers last weekend.

Peter Cavanagh will again be missing for Keith Hill’s side as he serves the final match of his three game ban. Deane Smalley could return for the U’s after missing last Saturday’s encounter against Wycombe as a pre-caution and Dave Kitson will be pushing for a start after making an appearance as a second half substitute after recovering from a shoulder injury.

Dale were unable to mark the penultimate match of the season with a win as they went down 3-0 against Chris Wilder’s side.

Second half goals from Andy Whing, James Constable and Alfie Potter brought an end to Dale’s six game unbeaten run.
