Rochdale AFC’s Ability Counts Open Age team have been crowned 2012/13 champions!
They finished 11 points clear at the top of their league table with 37 points, after losing just once in 14 matches.
Dale’s Head of Football in the Community, Keith Hicks, commented: “I would like to thank all the players for their commitment to the cause, especially on the last day when they set off for Salford Sports Village at 8.00am on a Saturday morning to clinch the title.
“The squad will be competing in the much stronger Premiership next season, but expectations remain high and I’m sure that the lads will return from their summer holidays in a positive manner and give a good account of themselves.”
Well done, lads!
