The league title is out of reach for the youth team as they currently sit third in the division on 41 points, six points behind league leaders Wrexham, but they are still in with a chance as finishing as runners-up.
The youngsters head into the fixture at Salford City's Moor Lane on the back of Tuesday's 3-3 draw away Carlisle. Scott Tanser, Darcy O'Connor and Andy Cannon were on the scoresheet for Dale.
Saturday's fixture has an 11am kick-off. (Salford City FC, Moor Lane, Salford, M7 3QH).
Although the league season is coming to an end for our youth team, they still have the final of the Lancashire Youth Cup to look forward to. A date for the final is yet to be set.
