Defender Neill Byrne has had his loan spell at Southport extended.
The 19-year-old joined the Sandgrounders in January and had his initial loan spell extended last month. His stay has now been extended for a second time and he will remain at the Blue Square Bet Premier League side until the end of the season.
Byrne has made eight appearances and netted twice during his time there.
The agreement includes a 24-hour re-call clause.
