Dale head into the encounter buoyed by wins over AFC Wimbledon and Rotherham United in their last two outings and will look to continue their recent vein of form against the Daggers this weekend.
Rochdale’s 3-2 mid-week victory over the Millers, coupled with the 2-1 win at Kingsmeadow last Saturday, ended a year long wait for back to back Dale wins. Dele Adebola and Bobby Grant were on the score sheet in both fixtures, while Kevin McIntyre netted the winner on Tuesday evening.
Saturday’s opponents have taken three points from their opening seven fixtures but are yet to record a victory after having to settle for draws against Plymouth, AFC Wimbledon and Accrington Stanley.
Daggers Manager John Still will be without the injured Kevin Maher for the trip to Spotland, while Dale skipper Peter Cavanagh is again expected to miss out through the calf strain which has kept him side-lined in recent weeks.
