Musangu joins goalkeeper training camp
Dale's highly promising under 15 Jonathan Diba Musangu has been selected to attend a two day England under 16 goalkeeper training camp at the new multi-million pound St George’s Park facility.
Jonathan, who lives locally and attends St Cuthbert's High School in Rochdale, met up with other goalkeepers from across the country on Monday morning at the state of the art facility in Staffordshire.
It's the third time the youngster has been selected for an England get together, with the 15 year old attending two sessions last season.
Youth Team Manager Chris Beech is delighted for the schoolboy: "This is a fantastic opportunity for Jonathan. He is the only goalkeeper outside of the Premier League to receive a call up to the camp so he can only learn from the experience.
“Credit must go to Centre of Excellence Manager Tony Ellis and goalkeeping coach Darren Ford who work with Johnathan week in and week out.”
