Six Players Head Back To School

22 November 2012

Six first team players will take time out of their busy schedule on Thursday afternoon to get involved in the latest Respect workshops organised by Dale's Football in the Community Trust.

Ryan Edwards and Andrew Tutte will be visiting Sandbrook Primary School, Rhys Bennett and Ashley Grimes will be chatting to kids at Middleton Parish, while Joe Rafferty and Phil Edwards are attending Heap Bridge Village Primary.

Throughout the school year the Football in the Community team visit schools across the Borough on a weekly basis to deliver the Respect initiative to Year 6 pupils.

The Respect project which is run by the Football League Trust in partnership with npower sees both organisations working together along side all 72 clubs, including Rochdale, in a bid to help children learn about the importance of being respectful both in sport and in their daily lives.
