Midfielder Jason Kennedy will reach an appearance milestone on Saturday should he feature against Southend United.
The 26 year-old, who is now in his fourth season at Spotland, is set to make his 150th league appearance for Rochdale and says he is enjoying playing week in and week out: “I’ve notched up the games, I’m very rarely injured, I enjoy playing every week and I’m happy to be playing in front of the Rochdale fans every week."
And he is hoping to mark the milestone with a win at Roots Hall: “It is a big game for us and we want to go there and win. We’ve got a game in hand now where we can make progress on the opponents above us and we want to make space between ourselves and the chasing pack, so it is a great time to get a result.”
The full interview with Jason is on Dale Player now. He tell us what he rates as the best strike of his career, and why Jack the Kitman is like a step-dad to him.
