Rochdale have been drawn at home to Bolton Wanderers in the first round of the LFA Senior Challenge Cup (sponsored by Molson Coors).
A date for the tie has yet to be finalised.
Meanwhile, Dale's under 18s have been drawn against local rivals Bury in the first round of the LFA Professional Youth Cup.
The winner of the tie faces a trip to Burnley in the next round.
