Dale’s youth team travel to Macclesfield Town this Saturday for their first away match of the 2012/13 season.
Chris Beech’s under 18 side head into the encounter following their opening day defeat to Shrewsbury Town at their new home venue in Salford almost a fortnight ago.
Jamie Allan bagged Dale’s only goal of the game with an exquisite half volley in the 2-1 loss.
This weekend’s match takes place the Moss Rose Ground, Macclesfield (kick-off 11am).
