Born: St Peter (Jersey), 7th July 1986

Peter joined Dale on an initial two-year deal in July 2013 after leaving relegated Aldershot.

The 30-year-old, who has represented Jersey, made Millwall his first league club in 2007/08, before joining Stevenage, with whom he won the FA Trophy in 2009 and the Blue Square Premier 12 months later.

Peter took just seven minutes to score Stevenage’s first-ever Football League goal against Macclesfield on the opening day of the 2010/11 campaign and then had a loan spell at Mansfield, before moving to Aldershot in January 2011.

He opened his account for Rochdale with a fine 25-yard strike in the 3-0 home win over Newport County AFC in October 2013 and was also on target with the first goal in the 2-0 defeat of Cheltenham that clinched Dale’s place in League One.

Peter, whose is contracted to the club until 2018, progressed to enjoy an excellent 2014/15 in League One, scoring 16 goals to help Dale to their best-ever league finish and the fourth round of the FA Cup.
