Talking to Chris Beech after the match he gave us his views of how he saw the victory
"Playing a team who were above us in the League prior to the game, the lads completely bossed proceedings through their ability to play the ball, move and finish off good play.
The teams that the lads face now have pro's in their ranks with their Clubs having made the decision of who is offered a contract. Ours boys have shown exemplary attitudes with high quality performances both at youth and reserve level whilst they await the decisions here at Rochdale. Our 2nd years will get to know their position within the next two weeks or so. Prior to these decisions I would like to congratulate each and every one of them for their ability to perform when not knowing what the future holds and at the same time representing themselves and Rochdale AFC at a very high standard.".
