With the release of the fixtures the new season is fast approaching but before it kicks off in earnest, with our trip to Port Vale, we have some exciting warm up games including home fixtures against FA Cup finalists Everton (18/7/09), Champions Manchester United (20/7/09) and Championship hopefuls Blackpool (25/7/09)

For these games we have some GOOD NEWS.  Following the news that Early Purchase, Match day and Season Ticket prices have been frozen at last years prices the club is pleased to announce that prices for the three attractive home friendlies will also be frozen at last years prices of £12 for adults and £6 for concessions.

The good news doesn't end there because if you buy your tickets for all three matches before 5pm on the 17th July you will get ALL THREE MATCHES FOR THE PRICE OF TWO!

Tickets go on sale at the Ticket Office on Thursday 18th June 2009.  NB Concessions will need proof of age (a 2009/10 season ticket will suffice) We will accept telephone bookings when the tickets go on sale but they will be for collection only and carry a charge of £2 per transaction for phone bookings to cover administration costs.

Our full pre season schedule is as follows:- Following a week long trip to Marbella (5th to 12th July 2009) that includes a game against Peterborough United , friendly matches have been pencilled into the diary as follows:- Wednesday 15th July 2009 7.30pm. Radcliffe Borough (away) Saturday 18th July 2009 3.00pm. Everton (home) Monday 20th July 2009. 7.30pm Manchester United Xl (home) Saturday 25th July 2009 3.00pm. Blackpool (home) Wednesday 29th July 2009 7.30pm Rossendale United (away) To Be confirmed Saturday 1st August 2009. 3.00pm Southport (away) These fixtures are, at the moment, subject to change and others may be added. The season proper kicks off on Saturday 8th August 2009
