SEASON TICKET UPDATE

Rochdale Football Club would like to clarify a number of issues that were raised by supporters following the previous season ticket EARLY PURCHASE announcement.

The Club was contacted by a number of supporters who had genuine queries regarding the criteria applied for concessionary prices and in particular the date criteria for junior supporters. As a club Rochdale Football Club values the input of our supporters and welcomes constructive feedback. Although there were only a small number of queries these were raised in the appropriate manner and the club have been more than happy to give the matter further consideration.

The main point raised was that the dates on the Season Ticket application form were ambiguous and this was in relation to the Clubs announcement that the junior age categories were in effect being raised by one year.

After due consideration and with the assistance of a number of Supporters, the Club would like to confirm that any Junior Supporter who is 7 and under, or 12 and under, or 16 and under on the 1^st September 2009 will be entitled to the concessionary rate applicable to that age category.

The Club would also like to confirm that having introduced the new Young Persons concession for 19's and under that any supporter who is 19 and under on the 1^st September 2009 will be entitled to claim the Young Persons concessionary rate.

This announcement confirms the Clubs intention to give Junior Supporters a further years benefit at the concessionary prices offered in the different age categories.

This announcement also highlights the benefits of the EARLY PURCHASE and the ADDED VALUE that a Season Ticket brings. The Club would like to apologise for any confusion that may have been caused by the dates on the season ticket application form and the form has now been amended.It is hoped that the dates on the amended form will remove any ambiguity.
