First of all on behalf of the Directors of the football club may I thank you for purchasing a Centenary Season ticket, the sale of season tickets last summer hit new records as we headed for our Centenary season and provided important revenue as we assembled the squad for the new campaign.

As I write this letter to you the club sits 8th in League 2, just one point behind our closest rivals who hold the final play-off position at this time, and of course we have three games in hand. We all know that games are not played on paper but our current league position coupled with a run in to the end of the season, which see us playing teams that are all currently below us in the table only serves to increase our optimism.

Six of our remaining nine games are at home where in our last two home games we returned to winning ways on home soil with resounding 4-1 wins against Accrington Stanley and Rotherham United respectively. We all thought we were fortunate to witness Adam Le Fondre's hat trick against Accrington but what Chris Dagnall served up in 9 minutes against Rotherham was of fairy tale proportions.

As I stated we are all very optimistic about achieving our dreams this season, which leaves us at this time not knowing where we will be playing our football next season, will it be League 2 ?, or will it be a dream trip to Wembley and next season in League 1 or even through an automatic place?

No decision has been confirmed as to season ticket or match day prices for next season and no decision will be finalised until after the season has been completed. The purpose of this letter is to offer you the opportunity to get your season ticket before the end of the season at the same price as last season, which in most cases is the early purchase price.

Next season you could be watching League 1 football at the same price as you paid this season to watch League 2 football. Our offer to you is this, if you purchase your season ticket for next season between the 1st April 2008 and the 2nd May 2008 the price will be exactly the same as last year's early purchase price.

This season we have promoted a number of initiatives aimed at increasing home support and we would like to thank those supporters who not only encouraged others to attend but also those supporters who assisted us with the administration of the promotions. We would again ask our supporters to assist us by encouraging anyone who you feel may be interested in becoming a season ticket holder to take advantage of our season ticket offer as we will also be taking new applications.

We feel that this is a great offer from the club, for your convenience an application form is avaiable to download at the foot of the page.  Again I thank you for your continued support of "The Dale".

Yours sincerely

Colin Garlick

Chief Executive/Secretary
