Rochdale's Table Topping reserve side maintained their great run of form with a fine victory away at Carlisle United on Monday Afternoon.

Chris Beech fielded a strong side which dominated the match from start to finish playing controlled, passing football which deserved even more goals that the three they scored, Two came from Scott Spencer and and the other from Joe Thompson.

Carlisle were first to score through ex-Dale loanee, Gary Madine, before Dale scored three with Carlisle only netting their second a minute from the end.

Speaking To Chris Beech this morning he stated " Once again it was an excellent performance from the team who were strong in every area throughout the match. They dominated possession and were worthy of their victory. If I have any criticism of yesterday's performance it is that our approach play and possession deserved even more goals on the day".

Another feature of yesterday's match was Rory McArdle getting another 90 minutes under his belt as he recovers from his shoulder injury sufferd in pre-season.

The reserves next scheduled match is not until 11th November when they travel to Morecambe for a 2:00pm Kick-Off. For your diaries our next home match is scheduled for Wednesday 9th December at 2:00pm when we entertain Oldham at Dark Lane.
