Born: Cork, 27th July 1978
Brian became Dale's first new recruit in the summer of 2010 when he moved to Spotland after turning down a contract offer at Bury. The Irishman had signed for the Shakers in August 2004 after being released by Sheffield Wednesday.
'BBM' started his career at Preston in 1999, but started to establish himself in league football with loan spells at Southend and Hartlepool.
