Dale travel to Accrington Stanley as Keith Hill's side look to strengthen their promotion push.

Frank Fielding is likely to start in goal for Dale, whilst the back four of Scott Wiseman, Rory McArdle, Nathan Stanton and Tom Kennedy could remain unchanged after the clean sheet at Shrewsbury, although Craig Dawson, fresh with facemask, will be looking for a return in the centre of defence.

Keith Hill is likely to go with a midfield three of Jason Taylor, Gary Jones and Jason Kennedy, a set-up which has been successful in recent away games. Joe Thompson or Kallum Higginbotham are in the frame for the free role behind Chris O'Grady and Chris Dagnall up top.

BLAST FROM THE PAST - Kallum Higginbotham scores Dale's equaliser in the 2-1 win at Accrington in December 2007.

Since Accrington came back into the League in 2006, we have faced them seven times, coming out on top in five. Last season both games ended in 3-1 victories to Dale, whilst in our Centenary season both wins over Stanley started two great runs of form that helped Dale reach the play-offs. However, in the reverse fixture at Spotland this season John Coleman's side shocked Dale into a 2-1 defeat. Our first ever League game came against Accrington and it ended in a 6-3 victory to Dale.

Saturday's referee will be Graham Salisbury from Lancashire. His assistants will be Gary Beswick and Simon Clayton from County Durham, whilst the fourth official will be Paul Marsden, also from Lancashire.
