Imps Come To Town
Dale are on home turf again as Lincoln are welcome to Spotland with Keith Hill's men looking for a third win on the bounce.
Dale's last two wins have come without conceding a goal. Both of those have been different types of victories, with the 1-0 win at Macclesfield being a hard fought one that showed Dale's battling qualities. However, the demolition of Rotherham on Tuesday showed the table toppers at their sparkling best with the second half performances being one of the best of the season.
Lincoln had a packed February fixture list, with The Imps playing no less than eight games. Only one win came from those for Chris Sutton's men, with that coming at home to Accrington Stanley in a 2-1 win. Their last game on the road ended in a 4-0 defeat at inconsistent Port Vale, whilst last time out they drew 1-1 at home to Crewe.

BLAST FROM THE PAST - Dale celebrate Mickael Antoine-Curier's debut goal for Dale in the 1-1 draw at Sincil Bank in September 2003. Lee McEvilly was sent off just after half-time for Dale, with Marcus Richardson equalising just before the break for Lincoln.
Frank Fielding is set to start in goal for Dale, whilst the back four of Rory McArdle, Nathan Stanton, Craig Dawson and Tom Kennedy is set to be unchanged with Scott Wiseman still aiming to get back to full fitness. Keith Hill has a number of options in midfield, with the Tuesday night's four favourite to start. This means Jason Kennedy and Gary Jones could be in the middle with Ciaran Toner on the left and Will Atkinson on the right.
However, Jason Taylor could start after having a rest on Tuesday night, whilst Temitope Obadeyi, Kallum Higginbotham, Andrew Haworth and Joe Thompson will all be hoping for some game time. Chris O'Grady and Chris Dagnall, both goalscorers on Tuesday, will be hoping to get on the score-sheet again as they start up top.
Dale and Lincoln have faced each other a remarkable 110 times in history, with 107 of those coming in the League. We have faced The Imps five times whilst under the reign of Keith Hill, winning just twice. The first came in March of Hill's first season where late goals from Chris Dagnall and Adam Rundle gave Dale a 2-0 win.
However, earlier that season Dale lost 7-1 at Lincoln in one of the worst performances by Dale in recent memories, when under the management of Steve Parkin. Lincoln completed the double over us in our Centenary season, whilst both games last season ended in draws, with an Adam Rundle wonder goal at Sincil Bank the highlight. Dale's 3-1 win at Sincil Bank earlier this season was the 5th straight win in the run of 7. Our full record against Lincoln is as follows:
