Rochdale Football Club would like to pass on our sincere thanks to the family of the late Stan Milburn who passed away last month. The family very kindly asked that donations in the memory of Stan Milburn be made to the Rochdale AFC Youth Development Department.

Stan's wife Marjorie and his daughter Anne visited the clubs offices on Friday morning to present Chief Executive, Colin Garlick with the cheques received in Stan's memory.

Colin Garlick commented "Stan was a real Gentleman respected by everyone in the game and a true Dale Legend who will always hold a special place in the history of Rochdale Football Club.

"It is very touching that his family have chosen to have donations made to our Youth Development program and I am sincerely grateful to Stan's family for this very kind gesture."

"Mrs Milburn and her daughter said to me that the whole family was very touched by all the messages that they received, they were particularly grateful for the respect shown to Stan on the day of his funeral when all the staff, management and first team players lined the car park to pay their respects to Stan."
